Jules Kounde - S Tier (1st place)
Mr Team of the Year himself, the fan favourite, arguably football’s best dressed player. Jules Kounde has really made a name for himself of the pitch with his style. From Super Smart, to the deepest levels of streetwear, there doesn’t seem to be a realm in fashion which Jules is afraid to tap in to.
Here are 3 reasons as to why he’s the leader of the pack… for now.
Pre-Game Fits
If there’s anything we can take away from American sports, its their media team commitment’s to showcasing a player’s personality both on and off the field. Jules Kounde has taken that in full stride. It’s seemingly become tradition for him, like so many NBA athletes for example, to get a “tunnel fit” pic of his Pre-Game fits before matches, and honestly… he’s killing it. Whether its a smaller fixture which requires nothing more than a clean tracksuit, or a big game which requires a bit more steeze. Whatever the occassion, Kounde hasn’t dissapointed in the slightest. And you know what they say, look good, play good… and numbers clearly don’t lie.
2. Individual Style
Certain things can be bought, copied.. forced. But your own personal sense of style, that’s yours and yours alone. Jules gets that. In a time where fashion is overly saturated by the same display of designer brands worn just in different variations, Kounde shines alone. His style is very much unique to him, he’s bold with. Contrary to his playing position of a defender, he doesn’t shy away from the opportunity to have a shot at it, and it’s not very often he misses his target… and to make it clear if it wasn’t already, we’re not talking football no more, we’re talking fits.
He’s experimental, unpredictable, the perfect blend of flair and fundamentals. And just like this season, he’s taking home all the silverware.
